"Geometry of Polyhedra"
Abstract:
I will give a survey of some classical problems in
polyhedral geometry, their extensions to the hyperbolic-geometric
setting, and the connections with various areas of low-dimensional
geometry and topology (moduli of surfaces, geometrization,
computational geometry, etc).
Light refreshments will be served in the faculty lounge at 3:30.
