"Fractal and multifractal properties of the Schramm-Loewner evolution"

Abstract:

The Schramm-Loewner evolution (SLE) was invented by Oded Schramm and is now an invaluable tool in the study of critical phenomena in two-dimensional statistical physics models. This talk will have two parts: the first is an introduction to SLE and the second will discuss some the fractal properties of the paths. In particular, we will be considering Holder continuity and dimension of exceptional points. This talk is intended for a general mathematical audience.
